A new reveal each morning
With the iPhone app, each day stays sealed overnight and opens the next morning. Everyone sees the day at the same moment, over coffee, instead of a pile of photos in the group chat once you’re all home.
One link for the whole trip
Send the link to the group chat once, whether you’re under one roof or spread across three cars. Guests don’t install anything or make an account, and every photo lands in one shared album, which means nobody has to chase anybody for pictures.
The camera doesn’t need a signal
A cabin in the woods, a boat on the lake, a trail with one bar. The phone keeps each photo until there’s a signal and then sends it, so a dead zone doesn’t stop anyone from taking photos.
The setup
Set it up once, before you leave.
Setup takes a few minutes. Print the QR code and tape it to the fridge, so anyone who shows up late can join.
- How long With the iPhone app, up to 7 days: long enough for a long weekend or a week at the lake.
- Start and finish Pick when the camera opens, for example Friday at 5:00 PM, and when it closes, say Monday at noon. If the trip runs long, the camera can stay open later.
- The reveal With the iPhone app, each day opens the following morning at a time you pick, such as 9:00 AM. Or choose one reveal for the whole trip, the day after it ends.
- Photos each day Each guest gets 6, 12, 24 or 36 photos a day, and you choose which. When a chapter runs several days, the count starts over each day, so 12 means 12 on Friday and 12 more on Saturday.
- Size With 10 guests or fewer, the chapter is free, which suits a friend trip or one family. For a reunion, 50 guests is $19 and 100 is $39. Larger sizes come with the iPhone app.
- Look Pick one look for every photo on the trip: a warm disposable look, black and white, or no filter. None of them costs extra.

A long weekend, morning by morning
- Fri Everyone arrivesThe camera opens at 5:00 PM. Share the link with the group, and the first photos start going in. Nobody can look at them yet.
- Sat Friday opensAt 9:00 AM, over breakfast, the whole group sees Friday at once. Then everyone heads out, and Saturday’s photos start going in, sealed.
- Sun Saturday opensThe hike, the dinner, the card game that ran too long, from whoever happened to have a phone out. Everyone sees it together.
- Mon Sunday opensSame time, same table. The camera stays open through the packing and the goodbyes, then closes at noon.
- Tue The last day opensBack at your desk, one more morning of the trip shows up: the drive home, the last coffee. If you chose one big reveal instead, this is the morning everything opens.
Good to know
What to know before you pack.
- More than one night comes with the iPhone app. A chapter can stretch to 7 days and open a day at a time, and the person setting it up needs an iPhone. Guests use the browser on their own phone. A chapter in your browser is one night.
- The minimum age is 13. Younger kids can still be in the photos. Someone older just takes them.
- Photos only, and no do-overs. Nobody gets a preview or a retake, so the blurry one stays. Video isn’t part of it, and photos come straight from the camera, not the photo library.
- Choose the look up front. One look covers every photo on the trip, and you can’t switch it after the chapter is created.
- Photos are kept for a full year, counted from the reveal. There is time to save everything to your phone before then.
Questions about trips and weekends
How long can a chapter last?
With the iPhone app, up to 7 days, with a reveal each morning if you like. For longer trips, make a chapter for each week. In your browser today, a chapter covers one night.
Can we save it all for the end of the trip?
Yes. With the iPhone app you can open one day at a time, or choose a single reveal for the whole trip, the day after it ends. You pick which when you set the chapter up.
Can I peek at a day before it opens?
No. Each day stays sealed until its own reveal, and that goes for everyone: the guests, you, and our support tools.
The only thing you get is a list of who has joined and a running photo count. It’s just enough to build the suspense.
What if we have no signal for most of the weekend?
The camera still works without a connection. Each photo waits on the phone until there is a signal, then sends. If someone closed the page in the meantime, the waiting photos go out when they next open their link, so remind everyone to open it when they’re back in range.
A day opens on schedule, but it can only show photos that have already been sent. Photos still waiting on a phone join the album once they arrive.
Does everyone in the group need an iPhone?
No. Guests use the browser on their own phone, and they don’t install or sign up for anything. Only the person setting up a chapter longer than one night needs an iPhone, because longer chapters come with the iPhone app. In your browser, anyone can set up a one-night chapter.
What does a group trip cost?
With 10 guests or fewer, the chapter is free. Bigger groups pay once per chapter, with no subscription and no watermark: $9 for up to 25 guests, $19 for up to 50. Sizes above 10 come with the iPhone app.
